Drew’s acting career began very early; she appeared in a dog food commercial when she was just 11 months old. She gained widespread fame at the age of seven for her role as Gertie in the 1982 film “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.” This success led to more roles in movies like “Firestarter” (1984) and “Irreconcilable Differences” (1984).

As she grew older, Drew faced personal challenges, including struggles with substance abuse. She also co-founded a production company called Flower Films, which produced movies like “Charlie’s Angels” (2000) and “Donnie Darko” (2001). In recent years, Drew has hosted her own talk show, “The Drew Barrymore Show,” where she shares stories and interviews guests.
